An AWESOME session! I love meeting and photographing young families, this is such a special time in their lives and it brings me back to when Ed & I first started out with our new baby. Baby Lela was such a good baby, I'm already attached... as I am with all the children I photograph. I am so honored when anyone chooses me to photograph special moments in their lives, they invite me into their homes and I get to capture the real lives of all of these wonderful people I meet. This is what we call lifestyle photography and I wouldn't do it any other way! By the way Lela's nursery is SO stinking adorable! ~Michaela

My Mommy and Me......
My love of photography began with my own baby photographs.... I loved looking at them as a little girl. I was my parents first child and looking at these images made me feel so special. I loved how beautiful my mom always had me dressed... most of those little dresses I'm wearing I still have now. And my mom..... how did she do it?... she was always dressed so beautifuly... don't you just loves those mini skirts? ~Michaela

I know these are special images now but many years from now they will be even more special. This entire session was just pure magic... This mom and her little girl were so wonderful to work with, they opened their hearts and home to me... they were very comfortable in front of the camera and the result are beautiful images to be treasured forever! ~Michaela

Mommy & Avery......
This is my photographer friend Tami. http://butterflykissphotography.com We had such a fun day together, first shopping for adorable props, a "Mommy and Me" session and then some more photography fun that was "All about Avery"! (I'll post those later.) All of the images were taken in my garden, although I am a location photographer and prefer to photograph at different locations, my garden is also a great alternative.
Mommy and Me sessions are my absolute favorite, Mom's are always the ones doing most of the photography and it seems we never have images of us with our kids. I know that's true for me and I regret that I didn't take the time to have more Mommy and Me sessions with my babies. The images I want to capture are images of you interacting with your child, holding them, playing with them, and I want to capture that smile when you are looking at your precious beautiful child. ~Michaela

Mommy & Me Sessions
Each one of my boys melt into my arms in a different way and those are the special moments I want to remember. This session is precious and priceless. Let's meet at a park and hang out for a while, the kids really love the attention and the special time together with Mom. These images make beautiful gifts for Mothers Day.
